Earlier this month I got to attend and hand out medals at the annual Pointe-Claire Invitational Competition, our biggest sporting event of the year, the Pointe-Claire Invitational. The Aquatic Centre welcomed over 750 swimmers from around the world. Our Pointe-Claire athletes saw their hard work and dedication pay off, as 12 of our swimmers ranked among the top 18 in points, earning a combined total of $6,000 in prize money. Two significant items for District 4 residents arising from last week's Council meeting: -After a long wait, Chestnut will be repaved in Summer 2026, with the addition of new drainage infrastructure. An information session for residents explaining the process and collecting feedback will be held at City Hall in the Spring. -Legal action is being taken against the tenant and owner of 243 Hymus (the legal cannabis plant) for non conforming use of the property.
