April 30 STM Information Session

*** I would invite all interested District 4 residents to attend and bring your questions and concerns. As I've noted here before, the choice of the new STM bus routes was made in 2024 and doesn't necessarily reflect the input or concerns of the previous or current City Councils. Given Pointe-Claire's growing density and contributions to the Montreal Agglomeration (58% of your tax dollars), I would have liked to see existing routes maintained with greater frequency and some added connections REM, not just cut or reallocated in ways that reduce service in some areas and don't take local concerns into account.

Published on April 13, 2026 to 3:30 p.m.

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that the STM public information event, originally scheduled for March 11 but postponed due to freezing rain, has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 30.

The event will be held at Pointe-Claire City Hall (451 Saint-Jean Boulevard) from 5 to 8 p.m.

The session will present and discuss the STM’s new bus network redesign. Representatives from the Réseau express métropolitain (REM) and Exo will also be present to answer your questions.

For any questions about the opening of the REM or the bus network redesign, contact:
