Pointe-Claire Volunteer Rescue 75th anniversary

It was an honour to attend and celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Pointe-Claire Volunteer Rescue Unit (PCVRU), a remarkable organization that has served our community with dedication, professionalism, and compassion since 1951.

For three quarters of a century, the members of the PCVRU have been there when our community needed them most — responding to emergencies, supporting residents during natural disasters and power outages, assisting in search and rescue operations, and providing first aid and safety services at countless community events. Their commitment to public safety and community service is truly extraordinary.

What makes the PCVRU especially unique is that its members are volunteers: individuals from all walks of life who dedicate countless hours to training and service, simply because they care deeply about helping others. Their professionalism and readiness have earned the respect and admiration of Pointe-Claire residents for generations. Congratulations PCVRU!
