Yesterday, the City of Pointe-Claire held an information session on stormwater management with experts from two organisations, Écohabitation and Architecture sans frontières Québec. It is now available online on the City’s website:
As part of our efforts to support residents in dealing with flooding, this session included:
A presentation on the City of Pointe-Claire’s initiatives to strengthen the area’s resilience and support residents in adapting their homes;
The options available for adapting your home to flooding;
Landscaping methods to prevent water infiltration;
Best practices recommended by experts in climate resilience and sustainable architecture.
